The 5th career fair at Elisia Education Hub

On August 25, more than 350 students and graduates from Arkansas State University Querétaro and Texas State University Querétaro had the opportunity to take another step along that path during the fifth edition of the Career Fair at Elisia Education Hub, a day designed to bring them closer to the professional world.

Building a career doesn’t begin after you receive your degree. It starts when you explore your interests, learn about different industries, make meaningful connections, and discover where you want to take your talents.

Choosing a university degree is only one part of the journey. As students move forward in their academic and professional development, new questions begin to emerge: Which industry do I want to build my career in? What type of company best aligns with my goals? What experiences can help strengthen my professional profile?

During the Career Fair, students had the opportunity to begin finding their own answers by connecting directly with 26 companies, institutions, and civil society organizations.

Throughout the day, they explored job opportunities, internships, trainee programs, and community service projects. They also connected with representatives from different sectors, discovered diverse career paths, and expanded their professional networks.

The universities that are part of Elisia Education Hub provide an environment where students can develop the skills and experiences they need to move toward a competitive, internationally focused career. Through the American educational model and classes taught 100% in English, students prepare to navigate professional environments with a global perspective.

Additionally, graduates of Arkansas State University Querétaro and Texas State University Querétaro earn a degree valid in the United States and another accredited by Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP), expanding their options to continue developing professionally in Mexico and around the world.

The Career Fair goes beyond finding a job opening. It is also a space to discover career paths and professional opportunities that may not yet have been on a student’s radar.

Getting closer to the professional world during university can help students understand what organizations are looking for, identify new areas of interest, and recognize the skills that can make a difference when entering the job market.

As part of the opening ceremony, Alberto Alesi, General Director of ManpowerGroup for Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America, shared his perspective with attendees on the importance of beginning to build a professional career from an early stage.

His message reinforced one of the central ideas of the day: you don’t have to wait until graduation to start moving toward the professional future you want.
