Beyond the Field: Student-Athletes Shine at Inter-PARR 2026

Five Elisia Education Hub student-athletes made their mark at the Academies Invitational 2026, helping their regional rugby teams secure a men’s championship and a women’s runner-up finish.

Effort, discipline, and a passion for sports can take you to compete beyond your university. For five members of our community, that opportunity came during Inter-PARR Academies Invitational 2026, a tournament that brought together young national rugby talents and international guests in Dos Ríos, Huixquilucan, State of Mexico.

Their participation represented an opportunity to test their skills, gain high-level experience, and continue building their sporting career.

Five student-athletes, two outstanding achievements

In the men’s division, Jesús Sebastián Segovia Moncada, Marco Uriza Guajardo, and Ause Fernando Solís Ramos were part of the Northeast regional team, with which they won the Inter-PARR M20 category championship, after defeating the regional team Oriente 17-7 in the final.

For their part, Itzia Ramírez Razo and Regina González Jurado represented the Central regional team in the M20 women’s category, achieving the runner-up position after playing the final against the Canadian academy MacDowell Rugby, with a score of 17-0.

These results reflect the preparation and commitment of our five student-athletes, who contributed to the performance of their teams and gained significant experience in their athletic development.

Where talent meets opportunity

The Inter-PARR is part of the Regional High Performance Program (PARR) of Rugby Mexico, an initiative that brings together youth teams from different regions of the country to evaluate their competitive level and strengthen their preparation.

Beyond the results, this program seeks to align the development of players with the playing system of Mexico’s national teams, known as Serpientes, and contribute to the formation of talent with potential for future opportunities of international representation.

For our students, participating in these types of events means facing new challenges, sharing the field with athletes from other regions, and continuing to grow within a competitive environment.

Your future takes shape on and off the field

Studying for a university degree and developing your sporting talent are two paths that can go hand in hand.

At Elisia Education Hub, we recognize the fundamental role of our student-athletes within the university community. Their commitment, discipline, and perseverance represent values that transcend competition and enrich their personal, academic, and athletic development.

Therefore, we promote an environment where students can combine their academic preparation with the practice of sports, be part of representative teams and access opportunities to compete, develop their skills and take their talent to new stages.

Because your future isn’t confined to the classroom, nor does it end when the final whistle blows. Every practice, competition, and college experience can bring you closer to new goals.

At Elisia Education Hub, we want you to discover how far you can go, on and off the court.
